Absorbed radiation and kinetic model in photocatalysis by TiO<sub>2</sub>

Abstract The current work studies a novel and affordable methodology to estimate quantify the photon flux absorbed amount of light that leaves from an illuminated photocatalytic system with TiO 2 suspended in water. To achieve it, new parameter B F S ? w a t $BF{S}_{\lambda }^{wat}$ is defined presented. It indicates, for every wavelength, fraction incoming radiation which not by system. was estimated means actinometric experiments jacketed reactor model based on Beer–Lambert law. For wavelengths below 388 nm concentrations between 0.05 g L ?1 , experimental values were 0.77 0.27.
